Welcome to /sci/ - your place for experiments, theories, and yes - even computers

>if science made it, then it MIGHT belong here

this board is replacing /tech/ because every site on the webring has /tech/ -
<but we… have /sci/….

Also blessed with the bald gene but you can get a decent idea of your metabolic rate based off your temperature and heart rate when you first wake up. You check these measurements then because your body isn't being influenced by food or anything yet. A good temperature is around 98F and a good heart rate is supposedly around 75-85. I can't personally speak to the heart rate aspect because I've always had high blood pressure but just keep track of your temps and heartrate in a book alongside how energetic you are during the day. Another good time to check your temp and heartrate is an hour or two after a meal. Low thyroid function can cause your temps to drop after meals. The best practice for measuring your temps is to use an old mercury thermometer under the armpit for a few minutes. This is just all the stuff I've found over the past year or so. I haven't gotten to implement this into my daily routine. I just go off of vibes.

>Most people building off of his work should be taken with a huge grain of salt
Agreed. Same as anything else in that there's grifters and snake oil salesmen. Personally I like Arcane Vitality and Danny Roddy.

Also for the sake of spirit raydolf peatler must be mentioned. May his legacy stand forever.

Can we change this to a peating thread? I'd love to have a place to check weekly with personal updates, tips, and other crud.

ive been experimenting with the "pro-metabolic" coffee lately (coffee + raw milk + honey + pinch of salt) and my morning temps are finally cracking 97.5 consistently instead of hovering in the 96s like a dead fish. still cant hit the mythical 98 tho

also i noticed i used to be able to grind through 8 hours of coding on nothing but black coffee, now if i skip a meal i turn into an actual retard and cant focus for longer than a few hrs at a time before the brain drain hits. wondering if anyone else has experienced similar? is this a result of too much sugar or not enough?

(also shoutout to the tranny anon in >>14 for actually posting real experience instead of copypasta, rare sight these days)

Hey all. Any of you into IEMs. I'm trying to find myself a nice new pair. My current ones are CCA CRA's they were cheap ChiFi and are alright just a bit tinny. I was looking at the Aria 2's and possible the EA1000s. If any of you have any good recommendations please let me know. Many thanks.

ive always been an IEM guy but i just go for the cheap shit and use a good quality headphone amp

been rocking the KZ ZS10 Pro's for the past few years and have no complaints - usually pair them with my Hidizs AP80 - i really only use my IEM's on the go

always use foam tips too and toss out the current tips when they are dirty, im not particular about brands, just whatever i can find on Amazon around when i need a new pack of replacements

I use this. Got it for $50 a few years ago at the request of a consumerist friend.

It sounds good, better than anything else I ever owned, but I couldn't tell you the technical reasons why.

Ayo, so peep this—binary hypercubes is like CUBES, but on some next-level ish…
You know how a regular cube got corners and edges, right? What if you start stackin' more dimensions on that? So you ain't just stuck in the third dimension—now you got 4, 5, maybe even 10 dimensions, all twisted up.

Each corner of this cube is a "bit." It finna be like a 0 or a 1–just like yo phone. And all them edges connect the bits–just like how wires hook up yo computer. In a 4D hypercube, you got 16 corners, 32 edges—mad complex.

MAKEUP OF A 4D HYPERCUBE (TESSERACT):
Vertices: \(2^{4}=16\).
Edges: \(4\cdot 2^{4-1}=4\cdot 8=32\).
Faces (Squares): \({4 \choose 2}\cdot 2^{4-2}=6\cdot 4=24\).
Cells (Cubes): \({4 \choose 3}\cdot 2^{4-3}=4\cdot 2=8\).
Total Sub-Hypercubes: \(3^{4}=81\)

Imagine you add another layer of dimensions on top of each other. Now your mind can’t even process it. The more dimensions you add, the crazier it gets, fam.

Bottom line? It’s like a cube that keeps gettin' mad complicated, built outta binary numbers. Ain’t no way to really picture it, nigga. Just know it’s like the next step in computer math and how everything’s connected on a higher level.
