the way i did it is first i cloned vichan:

then i stole some CSS from the original arisuchan

then I spent countless hours over the past 2 years customizing vichan and the sites CSS until everything was the way i wanted it

not OP but you're saying arisuchan is basically just vichan with adjustments?
are you using docker or baremetal, i'm just curious

not sure what other features youre looking for but IMO its probably better to just go with upstream vichan as opposed to a site-specific fork, unless its a more generic fork (there are a few floating around but im not very familiar with them)

AFAIK even vichan devs suggest using other IB software for new sites, i only used vichan because im already familiar with it

its possibly forked from lainchans code? im not sure.

i used to run another imageboard many years ago with the arisuchan code i linked to above. i still have the code for that site but its been heavily modified and is pretty shitty. that was a good learning experience for when i decided to revive this site, though.

yeah, vichan looks more easygoing, any idea how to get it centered? just css or php layout change?
